As with everything on Figmunds.com, your (our visitors and customers) satisfaction is the single most important thing to us, and we are constantly working to make sure you are happy with your experience here. If at any time you have questions, problems, or concerns with or about your current or future ad, please contact us immediately so we can take care of it.
Most of all (in case we forget to mention it), we thank you in advance for bringing any problems to our attention. After all, life is a learning experience, and we consider any issues with our customers a chance for positive improvement.
And of course, if you are satisfied with us, send us an e-mail about it. Praise is always good to hear.
Basic Information
Advertisement space is available for a minimum of one month. Each cycle begins on the first (1st) of the month and ends on the last day of the month. Each ad appears on every one of our pages, so they are constantly viewable wherever our visitors go on Figmunds.com. We currently do not support any rotating ads, so if you rent the space, it's yours until the rented-time expires (some restrictions apply, see below).
Reservations on space must be made at least two (2) weeks in advance of the advertising cycle (Figmunds.com, however, recommends one (1) month, if possible). Ad space may be reserved further in advance (i.e. 3 or 6 months or more in advance) at our discretion. All reservations must be accompanied by a deposit of 50% of the full price with limited refund availability (see below).All advertisements must be approved by Figmunds.com before being placed on our website. Please allow adequate time for ad approval and any possible revisions before the ad is set to appear. Keep in mind, Figmunds.com is a family oriented (all ages) website. Please refrain from ads containing offensive (violent or adult) material as this is grounds for immediate rejection, and we will require you to revise your ad before it is placed on our site. If you are unsure whether your ad will need revisions, feel free to ask or send us your image for review. We're happy to help.
Finally, we ask that all final, approved ads be delievered and full payment be made to us no later than three (3) business days in advance of the advertisement's appearance on our site (the first (1st) of the month). This will allow us proper time to get your advertisement up for all to see. Failure to do so, does bear with it certain refund restrictions (see below).
Advertising Rates and Sizes
We currently have three spaces on our website for advertisements: The top banner (Leaderboard - just below our menu bar), the side banner (Skyscraper - below our right-side content), and the bottom banner (Half Banner - positioned at the bottom of the page). We are currently considering background advertisements, however, this will be considered on a case-by-case basis. If you are interested please contact us for further information.
All sizes are according to the current IAB Ad Unit Guidelines. Please keep resolution to 72 or 96 DPI.

Our supported file types are JPEG, GIF, and PNG. Sorry, but we do not currently accept any animated file types other than GIF. Also, please keep file sizes to 72 or 96 DPI.

Refunds and Additional Information
Refunds on ad-space will only be given at the discretion of Figmunds.com. Following is some information about our refund policies for advertisements as well as additional information for your review.
Figmunds.com's Responsibilities:
As your advertisement space provider, Figmunds.com is responsible to have your advertisement up and viewable as promised for the rented time. We also have the responsibility of communicating with you through the entire process of approving the advertisement and accepting payment for it, in addition to being available for all your questions and concerns.
In the event that the website's layout is changed before or during the cycle your ad is featured during, we will of course give you advance notice (whenever possible), and the ability to resubmit, reconsider, or retract your ad. In such caes, if you do choose to retract your ad, a full refund will be given. We will, of course, in all cases try to refrain from changing our layout in the middle of any basic advertising cycle (1 month).
Figmunds.com reserves the right to change their rates at any time. If you have made an advanced purchase on ad-space, at no time will Figmunds.com change your rate without advanced notice. In most cases Figmunds.com will allow the rate to remain as it was at the time of purchase.
Figmunds.com reserves the right to pull any advertisement at any time for whatever reason they see fit. A refund may not accompany such removal.
Your Responsibilities:
As an advertiser on Figmunds.com, you are responsible for timely payment and delivery of all elements of your purchase of ad space with us. Communication through every stage of the process is also imperative.
Final payments and final, approved advertisements must be delievered no later than three (3) days in advance of the advertisement's appearance on Figmunds.com. Figmunds.com is not responsible for any undelievered or late-received advertisement files or payments by our advertisers.
If a payment is not received or received late, your ad may not appear as scheduled and will be delayed until payment is received. No additional time or extension will be given to your advertisement's term in such cases. In addition, if an advertisement is delivered late or remains undelieverd, no refund, discount, or extention will be given.
If at anytime you wish to pull your ad from Figmunds.com you may do so. However, Figmunds.com does ask that you notify us at least two (2) weeks in advance before the advertisement is set to appear on our site. A full refund will be given for such notification. Any notification made after this period of time (later than two (2) weeks before the ad is set to appear) will not result in a refund.
Extenuating Circumstances:
We at Figmunds.com would like to think we are a patient and understanding bunch. If for any reason you have a problem with your payment or delievering your advertisement to us, please notify us as soon as you are able to and explain the circumstances. We will do what we can to work out an agreeable sollution for both parties.
